Acute and chronic tendon ruptures are part of everyday practice for an upper extremity surgeon. While tendon repair surgery is often not technically difficult, achieving excellent patient function and satisfaction remains challenging.
Therefore, we designed a two-day course (January 20+21st 2022) with theoretical and practical sessions on the most frequently used types of tendon repair in different zones, chronic reconstruction possibilities and transfers for flexor and extensor tendons. The practical sessions will be performed on fresh frozen cadavers with two participants per extremity.
